Walk-in clinic
Walk in. No appointment, no referral.
An OHIP-covered walk-in clinic at 750 Dundas St W #11, Toronto — across from Toronto Western Hospital, in Trinity–Bellwoods. Same-day care from a family physician, with a pharmacy on site so you can fill a prescription before you leave.
Walk-in hours
Walk-in registration is open during these windows. The clinic closes midday, so arriving inside a window rather than between them is the difference between being seen and being turned away.
- Monday – Thursday
- 9:30 am – 12:00 pm · 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Friday
- 9:30 am – 12:00 pm · 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

What we treat at walk-in
Walk-in care covers single, immediate concerns that don’t need an ongoing care plan:
- Colds, flu and sore throats
- Ear, sinus and chest infections
- Urinary tract infections
- Skin rashes, bites and infections
- Minor cuts, sprains and injuries
- Prescription refills
Vaccinations — MMR, RSV, Shingrix, Prevnar and tetanus — are also given on site.
This page is not medical advice, and this is not an emergency department. For chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms or any life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department — Toronto Western Hospital is directly across the street.
Walk-in, family doctor, or emergency?
The three get confused constantly, and picking wrong costs you hours.
Walk-in
One immediate, non-urgent concern. No appointment. Best for infections, minor injuries, refills and sick notes.
Family doctor
Ongoing care — chronic conditions, screening, referrals, and a physician who knows your history. Requires enrolling once.
Emergency
Anything that could be life- or limb-threatening. Chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, stroke symptoms. Call 911.
If you find yourself using walk-in repeatedly, that’s a sign you want a family doctor instead. Dr. Hashim is accepting new patients.
What to bring
- Your valid Ontario health card (OHIP) — or UHIP / GuardMe if you are an international student or newcomer.

No. Walk-in visits at 750 Dundas St W need no appointment and no referral. Arrive during walk-in hours — Monday to Thursday 9:30 am–12:00 pm and 2:00 pm–4:00 pm, or Friday 9:30 am–12:00 pm and 3:00 pm–4:00 pm — and bring your Ontario health card.
What does the walk-in clinic treat?
Common walk-in reasons include colds and flu, sore throats, ear and sinus infections, urinary tract infections, skin rashes, minor cuts and sprains, prescription refills, and sick notes. For chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding or any life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Is the walk-in visit covered by OHIP?
Yes. Walk-in visits are covered by OHIP for insured Ontario residents — bring your valid Ontario health card and there is no fee for insured services. UHIP and GuardMe are also accepted for international students and newcomers.
How long is the wait at the walk-in clinic?
Wait times vary through the day and are not published in advance. Arriving at the start of a walk-in window — 9:30 am, or 2:00 pm Monday to Thursday — generally means a shorter wait than arriving near the end of one. Call (416) 681-0444 if you would rather book a set appointment time instead.
Can I see the same doctor at the walk-in clinic each time?
Walk-in care does not guarantee a specific physician on a given day. If you want continuity — one doctor who holds your full history — the answer is to enrol in a family practice rather than rely on walk-in. Dr. Harris Hashim is currently accepting new patients; call (416) 681-0444.
